Arkansas announced Sunday that KJ Jackson won the starting quarterback job for the 2026 season. The decision came less than a day after the Razorbacks’ second fall scrimmage, a closed workout of a little more than 100 plays at Razorback Stadium. Jackson’s biggest moment was a 68-yard touchdown pass to Chris Marshall. He also connected with CJ Brown for gains of 12, 15 and 29 yards. AJ Hill had notable completions to Marshall, Antonio Jordan and Courtney Crutchfield. Arkansas coach Ryan Silverfield said the night scrimmage was designed to prepare the team for its Week 2 game against Utah.
