The updated 2027 Rivals300 rankings include 89 prospects committed to Big Ten schools, with six currently rated as five-stars. All but Rutgers, Iowa and Purdue have at least one Rivals300 commitment as of Aug. 20. Ohio State and Oregon lead the conference with 12 ranked commitments each, followed by Michigan with 11 and USC with 10. Six other Big Ten programs have at least five. Indiana wide receiver Monshun Sales is the conference’s highest-ranked commitment at No. 7 nationally and No. 2 among receivers. Ohio State edge David Jacobs ranks No. 12 nationally and No. 1 at his position.

The failure condition is development. Sales has rare size-speed traits, but his scouting summary still calls for more route nuance, catch radius and contested-catch impact. The ranking gives Indiana a strong starting point.
