Boise State will host Memphis on Sept. 12 in the second meeting between the programs and the first at Albertsons Stadium. Memphis won the 2023 matchup 35-32 after trailing 17-0. The game will also serve as Boise State’s home opener after its season begins at Oregon. The Broncos went 9-5 last season and won their third consecutive Mountain West title before entering the Pac-12. Quarterback Maddux Madsen returns for his third year as the starter. He is 20-6 overall, including 14-1 against Mountain West teams, but 0-4 against Power Four opponents. Boise State also brings back running backs Dylan Riley and Sire Gaines, who combined for 1,936 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns last season.
