Matt Campbell will coach his first game as Penn State's head coach when the Nittany Lions host Marshall on Saturday, Sept. 5, at 3:30 p.m. ET at Beaver Stadium. The game airs on FS1 and streams on fubo.

Penn State enters the opener ranked No. 18 in the AP Top 25 and No. 17 in the Coaches Poll, a vote of confidence after a 7-6 season that ended with James Franklin fired mid-year and Penn State going 3-6 in Big Ten play. Marshall finished 5-7 last season, 3-5 in the Sun Belt.

Campbell arrives from Iowa State to try to push Penn State back toward the top of the conference. Penn State visits Temple on Sept. 12.
