Colorado quarterback Lewis has been named to the 37-player watchlist for the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Award.
Lewis, a redshirt freshman and former five-star prospect, started twice as a true freshman. He went 52-for-94 for 589 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions. The watchlist does not establish his place on Colorado's 2026 quarterback depth chart.
A Georgia native, Lewis opens his award pursuit with a homecoming game when Colorado visits Georgia Tech on Thursday, Sept. 3 at 8 p.m. ET.
