Colorado's New Offense Is Creating Multiple Answers on Every Play

Brian Howell reports that Colorado has installed a brand-new offense under coordinator Brennan Marion. The system, called the go-go offense, gives the quarterback multiple options on each play and is built to create more than one problem for the defense at once. Early word from fall camp is that the offense has been difficult to prepare for, with Colorado's own defense reportedly struggling to handle it in practice. William Gardner, an SEC transfer, is among the players discussing the new system. Colorado has not yet shown whether the same stress will carry into a game, but the identity is already different from what the Buffaloes have used before.
“And that has number one total offense in the country written all over it to me. That's well within the range of outcomes. By the way, that prediction's not a bust if they only finish number three.”
