A Knight Report retrospective of Rutgers’ 2025 preseason player rankings identified Antwan Raymond and Kobe Asamoah as the biggest omissions from the original top 10. Both players went on to solidify themselves as offensive cornerstones for the Scarlet Knights. Penn State transfer Cam Miller also made the preseason short list, though his season did not match the expectations attached to him. Miller started the entire season at nickel instead of boundary corner, then entered Carolina Panthers camp as an undrafted free agent. The retrospective says Raymond and Asamoah would have ranked highly in a postseason version of the list and will receive more attention in the 2026 rankings.
