The Big Ten will require four player-availability reports for each conference game: one three days before kickoff, then updates two days and one day out, followed by a final report two hours before kickoff.

Midweek reports will use probable, questionable, doubtful, out and first-half-out designations. On gameday, teams can list a player as a game-time decision, out or unavailable for the first half. Any player left off a report is deemed available.

The policy applies only to Big Ten matchups. USC's Week 0 game against San Jose State will not have a report. USC at Rutgers and UCLA-Purdue on Sept. 19 will.
